A yobshrimp was a carnivorous crustacean native to the shallow waters of Naboo, particularly the area of Lake Paonga. These clawed creatures were considered a dangerous delicacy by the Gungans, due to the fact they were served as a live cocktail. They sometimes lived inside the gills of the tee, and were eaten from them by laa. They were natural competitors with yobcrabs and were the common prey of the predatory scalefish.
