Ysanne Isard was a clone of the real Ysanne Isard, grown by a Spaarti cloning cylinder on Lusankya before her rise to lead the Galactic Empire. Isard constantly updated the memories of the clone, kept in suspended animation, to ensure she would be as up to date as possible.[1]
During the Bacta War, Isard activated her clone and made it believe it was the real Isard, before sending her out on a mission to scatter the prisoners of the Lusankya to deny Rogue Squadron its victory. Isard planned to kill the clone when she returned; however, before she could, Isard was overthrown and the clone was subsequently left alone in the galaxy, believing it was the real Isard.
The clone later joined with Delak Krennel in the Ciutric Hegemony, giving him political advice during the Hegemony theater and helping to plan in the destruction of Rogue Squadron.
