ZQ infantry droids were a type of battle droid used by the Imperial military.

CharacteristicsEdit

Designed for infantry support, the ZQ was propelled by a repulsorlift engine and came standard with two blaster cannons, each more than capable of dispatching armored troops, and a miniature concussion missile launcher. The ZQ also came with four additional hardpoints for mounting extra weapons, allowing for mission flexibility.

HistoryEdit

Widely deployed in the early days of the Empire, the Imperials would later claim that the droid series had been eventually phased out. However, rumors of their continued use still persisted. About 20 or so modified ZQs were supposedly deployed alongside Imperial storm commandos, specifically a unit known as the DeathWhispers, who had been tasked with wiping out the populace of Hyrol Preen Beta due to suspected Rebel activity on the planet.
