Zack 1 was a Delta-class DX-9 stormtrooper transport used by the Galactic Empire during the Aftermath of Hoth. During one of Maarek Stele's sorties against the Rebel Alliance, Imperial forces destroyed Calamari Cruiser Lulsla, forcing its commander to abandon ship aboard Shuttle Derris. Maarek Stele aided in the disabling of Shuttle group Derris. Having disabled the two Shuttles, Imperial forces launched Zack 1 to board and capture them.
