Zayda was a male Rodian gladiator who lived during the early years of the Galactic Empire. At some point, he acquired the custom-made battle droid RX-7246 for use as his personal combat assistant and he entered the service of the Hutt crime lord Darga Jiramma Mionne. In about 17 BBY, Zayda and RX-7246 participated in a gladiator fight in Darga's palace on the planet Cato Neimoidia, fighting against the Gamorrean Karg brothers and a group of undercover Alderaanian Resistance agents.
