Zero Squadron

Zero Squadron comprised two dozen starfighter pilots under the command of Fleet Admiral Klyn Shanga on behalf of the Renatasian Confederation. The Squadron hunted the so-called "Butcher of Renatasia" and attatched their starships with long cables to the hyperdrive engine of a large cruiser to enable the starfighters to travel through hyperspace, and later to a starship's pinnace -- acquired by pilot Bern Nuladeg -- for the purpose of providing enhanced shielding to the fighters.
