Zersium

Zersium was an ore found on the moon of Dathomir, Koratas and on Dor. It was used in the construction of durasteel and dura-armor, specifically blaster rifles during the Great Sith War, and as zersium flecks in the black body glove wore by Imperial stormtroopers, providing additional insulation and reducing thermal discomfort from impact with a blaster bolt.
