Zevulon Veers was the oldest child of noted Imperial Army general, Maximilian Veers.

[edit] Biography

Zevulon questioned the Galactic Empire's motives from a young age, but was still compelled to join the Sub-Adult Group. On a trip, he questioned the use of slave camps, which led his father to grow worried that Political Reliability Observers might take notice. He promised himself that he would not end up conditioned to simply follow orders like his father, a conviction which grew following Maximilian's victory at Hoth.

Although he hoped to join the Army, after finishing junior officer training he was assigned to CompForce, an assignment he found uninspiring. After touring with his father during celebrations over the Battle of Hoth, Zev was assigned as a bodyguard to ISB battalion commander Ivo Laibach. He was forced to watch as he tortured a suspected Rebel, an old librarian. When the Rebels, headed by the librarian's daughter, showed up, Zev helped him escape and was taken prisoner.

He eventually joined the Alliance Military and later the New Republic Defense Fleet. He served aboard the Emancipator as chief gunner and saw action in the First Battle of Mon Calamari and the Battle of the Emperor's Citadel.
