Zoalin was a Commander in the New Republic Defense Fleet aboard the Adamantine. In 13 ABY, he was aboard the ship when it traveled to Nam Chorios as part of a New Republic taskforce. However, the ship was infected with the Death Seed plague and members of the crew started to die, something that greatly confused Zoalin. However, he too eventually succumbed to the plague and died.
