Zonder was an individual whose named was carved into the wall of a safehouse on the planet Mapuzo[1] by 9 BBY.[2] The safehouse was used by members of the Hidden Path to smuggle Force-sensitives and other individuals away from the Galactic Empire to the planet Jabiim, where they would be given new identities to go into hiding.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
In the current Star Wars canon, Zonder was mentioned in the trivia gallery of the episode guide for the third episode of the Obi-Wan Kenobi television series,[1] which aired on June 1, 2022.[4] The guide established that Zonder's name was one of several references to characters from the Star Wars Legends continuity carved into the wall of the safe house set for the episode,[1] although his name is not one of the ones visible in the final episode.[3] In Legends, Zonder first appeared in Reversal of Fortune, a series of daily webstrips written by Paul Ens, illustrated by Tom Hodges and published between 2004 and 2005.[5]
