Zorneth's Herdship belonged to the Ithorian scientist Zorneth. It was crewed by Ithorians and assorted other species, along with numerous droids, including C-3PO, CD601, PDA6, and R2-D2. A passenger aboard the Herdship was the Human botanist Klorr Vilia.

The starship traveled to the planet Targonn with a cargo of live thookah, whose coats Zorneth intended to sell. The starship was attacked by the forces of Dictator-Forever Craw.
