Palsaang was a city located on Kashyyyk, a Mid Rim planet that was homeworld of the sentient Wookiee species.[1]

In the current Star Wars canon, Palsaang was introduced in the forty-third issue of the De Agostini Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon,[1] which was published around October 28, 2015.[2] The city originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in the eighty-first issue of the Star Wars: Republic comic book series. The issue was the first in the Hidden Enemy arc and was written by John Ostrander, illustrated by Jan Duursema,[3] and released on January 4, 2006.[4]
