"Hang on, son! We'll move into the asteroid field. And we'll have a couple of surprises for him."
―Jango Fett[1]

The Void-7 seismic charge was a type of seismic charge equipped on the Slave I, a Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft owned by the bounty hunter Jango Fett[1] and later his son, Boba Fett.[2] The elder Fett utilized Void-7s[1] in 22 BBY[3] in an attempt to dispatch Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi during a dogfight over the planet Geonosis, just prior to the outbreak of the Clone Wars.[1]

Some time after Boba Fett inherited Slave I from his father, he would utilize a Void-7[4] in 9 ABY[5] to kill the sarlacc within the Great Pit of Carkoon on the planet Tatooine,[4] which had swallowed him[6] five years prior in 4 ABY.[3] Later in 9 ABY,[7] Boba Fett used a Void-7 to eliminate two TIE/ln space superiority starfighters pursuing him as he assisted Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin in discovering the whereabouts of the child Grogu on Morak.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

The Void-7 seismic charge first appeared in the 2002 Star Wars film, Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.[1] It was first identified in the 2015 LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector's Series set 75060 Slave I.[8]
